Researcher
I currently hold a Full Professor (Profesor Catedrático) position at the School of Mathematics of the University of Costa Rica and I am a researcher at CIMPA (Centro de Investigación en Matemática Pura y Aplicada).
From 2012 to 2015, I was a PhD student at The University of Sheffield, under the supervision of David B. Applebaum. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Costa Rica obtaining BSc. degrees in Economics (2009), Mathematics (2012) and Actuarial Sciences (2019). I also obtained a Licenciatura degree in Economics (2010).
My research interest are in probability and stochastic processes in infinite dimensional spaces. Specially, I am interested in stochastic analysis driven by cylindrical and classical Lévy processes and semimartingales in locally convex spaces, with particular attention to Hilbert spaces, Banach spaces and duals of nuclear spaces.
